Dear our customers,

Thank you for visiting and making figurines at OMOTE 3D SHASHIN KAN.

For the customers who had a session before 18th December 2012, we deeply regret to inform you today that we will not be able to deliver your figurine on schedule, even though we have originally announced that the figurine will be delivered in 1~2 months after your shooting session.

OMOTE 3D SHASHIN KAN produces figurines in accordance with the following 4 steps.

1. Scanning 3D data
2. Shape modeling for scanned 3D data, filling up the parts that lacks the data.
3. Texture retouching for 3D data, adjustment of color tone.
4. 3D Printing

Regarding customers who had get scanned by the early December, we have finished the second step,
"Shape modeling" for their data.

However, a significant delay had occurred in the third process, "Texture retouching". This issue had been caused in an attempt to manage the quality of the product while dealing with the lack of resources that
arose from assigning and training the staff to meet the unexpected amount of demand from all over the world.

Currently we are working all-out to resolve the situation, and as we have found solution for the human resource issue, the outlook for 3D data retouching is favorable. The last step, 3D printing should be done and delivered within 4 business days maximum when the whole 3D data have been finished.

Under this circumstances, for the customers who got scanned before 18th December 2012, the delay in delivery has occurred, passing the originally announced delivery schedule. Please accept our sincere apology for any inconveniences that it may cause.

Prior to this announcement, we have made contact with the customers concerned individually to give explanation on the situation mentioned above and inform the expected delivery day for each.

Once again, we apologize for the delay in delivery and the inconvenience that may occur. We would appreciate your understanding and patience.
